The DAV School of Business Management (DSBM) organised a Faculty Knowledge Sharing Session on “Case-Based Teaching & Learning” in collaboration with the ICFAI Business School (IBS) Hyderabad at the DSBM on September 26 wherein academicians from the portal of higher education from various colleges across the State participated in the knowledge-sharing session.
The session was attended by Prof GV Muralidhara, Director, IBS, Bangalore, who discussed two significant case studies retrieved from the IBS Centre for Management Research (ICMR). The event also had a dedicated interactive session wherein the participants got valuable insights on case methodology and case-based teaching pedagogy.
DSBM Principal Dr DN Mishra delivered the welcome address and opined that the case-based learning and teaching is the need of the hour which is also the thrust objective of NEP 2020. He stated that the sole purpose of organising the Faculty Knowledge Sharing Session was to empower the teaching community. He appealed to all intellectual participants to improvise this method in order to bring in a change in the knowledge-based society.
