Deputy Commissioner Hazaribag, Nancy Sahay today said that the construction of library building work must be completed by June 30 this year. Basic amenities like health, drinking water, roads and education facilities must be available to the residents of coalfield areas in the district. Primary health centres should also be equipped with all medical equipment and facilities, she said in the review meeting of DMFT (District Mineral Foundation Trust) on Tuesday.
The DC further said that we are getting regular complaints of the residents of coalfield areas that they are not getting basic amenities. She instructed the concerned department to be careful that the residents are getting the facilities of education, medical, drinking water and child welfare in the locality.
The DC said that for the welfare plans, which are going on in the district, the concerned officer must submit the feedback of every plan to the district headquarter. The engineers should not compromise in the quality of the plan.
She further said that if any problems came in the plan, the solution must be found with the proper coordination between block officers and the departments which are involved in the plan.
In the meeting the members have passed the proposal of deep boring near the anganbari kendras. The members have also passed the proposal of medical equipment, repairs of buildings, construction of staff nurse quarters, approach roads, appointment of human resource and payments of bills.
