Former Assistant Secretary of the social organization Shri Ramakrishna Seva Sangh and a well-known social worker of the city, Tusharkant Sheet, has said that the decision to organize National Youth Week from 12th to 12th January on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda by National Service Scheme and Nehru Yuva Kendra Organization, a unit of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports of the Central Government, is commendable.
He said that the decision to organize various competitions and seminars at the district level on the birth anniversary of youth icon Swami Vivekananda is welcome. Sheet said that Swamiji's life was dedicated to the youth. The work done by him is relevant even today. He said that Swamiji's life is a source of inspiration for the youth. It also focuses on making significant contributions to the overall development of the nation and society. Youth need to come forward in making India a developed country by the year 2047.
He said that the youth need to use their energy in positive works. Youth have an important role in the reconstruction of the nation. The future of the country rests on the shoulders of the youth. He called upon the youth and said that the youth should come forward and make the nation prosperous and strong.
