The AYUSH department is paying special attention to human resources and infrastructure development for the expansion of AYUSH medical system in the state. The department is taking rapid action for recruitment on vacant posts.
The process of filling 763 vacant posts of AYUSH Medical Officers in the government AYUSH dispensaries and hospitals of the state through the State Public Service Commission is in the final stage. Along with this, 96 vacant posts of Government Ayush College Teacher Cadre Lecturer located in the state are being filled through the State Public Service Commission. AS many as 332 posts of Paramedical Cadre III class have been filled in AYUSH colleges, hospitals and dispensaries. The remaining vacant posts are being filled from the waiting list selected from the Staff Selection Board.
Infrastructure works are also being prioritized under the National AYUSH Mission. As many as 238 AYUSH Health and Wellness Centers are being built in the state. Along with this, 10 buildings are being constructed for 50 bedded hospitals. The department is going to start operation of 22 AYUSH wings soon. This wing has been started with the aim of providing alternative health facilities according to the Indian system of medicine in the allopathy hospitals of the state.
Construction of many as 102 AYUSH dispensaries has been completed in the state. Buildings of 5 district AYUSH offices are being constructed at a fast pace in the state. Effective action is being taken by the AYUSH Department to strengthen its structure by preparing a roadmap.
