In a gesture of inclusivity and harmony, Gajendra Singh of Vishwa Hindu Parishad visited the residence of former Babri Masjid litigant, Iqbal Ansari, and extended him a warm invitation for the upcoming consecration ceremony of Ram Lalla.
Ansari, known for his efforts towards communal amity, graciously accepted the invitation, expressing his intent to attend the Pran Pratistha ceremony.
This is not the first time that Iqbal Ansari has been extended an invitation for a significant event in Ayodhya. Earlier, he was invited to and actively participated in the bhoomi pujan for the Ram temple, demonstrating a shared commitment to the collective development and prosperity of Ayodhya.
Beyond symbolic gestures, Iqbal Ansari has been actively involved in community initiatives such as the recent cleanliness drive. Ansari, with a broom in hand, joined the cleanliness campaign, emphasising the shared aspiration among Ayodhya residents to make their city the cleanest in the world.
As Ayodhya gains prominence as a global pilgrimage destination, the community is united in its vision for a developed and immaculate city.
Reflecting on Ayodhya’s evolution, Iqbal Ansari remarked that the city has moved beyond historical controversies, focusing on its development trajectory.
When queried about the upcoming 2024 elections, Ansari diplomatically responded that the party or individual engaged in constructive work would likely secure victory and form the Central government in 2024. His remarks echo a sentiment of looking beyond political affiliations and emphasising the importance of tangible progress of the nation.
