State capital Bhubaneswar on Wednesday registered 173 new Covid-19 cases, with which the caseload in the city increased to 1,12, 664. The active cases stood at 3,623.
Out of the fresh cases, 143 were local contacts and 30 quarantine cases.Notably, the city had detected 145 infections on Tuesday.Two more person succumbed to the disease in the city, pushing the total death toll to 1,118However, 189 patients recovered in last 24 hours, increasing the total recoveries to 1, 07, 982.
