Uttar Pradesh minister and government spokesman Sidharth Nath Singh said the Samajwadi Party was in the habit of making lofty claims to win 350 seats in 2022 assembly polls even when the party was inducting turncoats from other parties to complete its list of 403 candidates.
"None other than Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra had thanked the SP president for taking some of 'cowards' of Congress into his party fold," Singh said and added, "Bhanumati ka kunba cannot win elections for SP."
Singh said it only manifested the desperation of Akhilesh Yadav who was busy taking in leaders from other parties left and right, clearly showing his party did not have candidates to field in the 2022 elections.
"Priyanka has shown a mirror to Akhilesh as to how he can be so audacious to claim washout of the BJP on the basis of 'borrowed' workforce," he remarked.
