The Bharatiya Janata Party has claimed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the central leadership of the party have taken care to provide representation to all sections of society while finalising the chief ministers in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisagarh. The BJP State president Mahendra Bhatt said that decisions were inclusive and taken in a democratic manner by the party leaders. “The BJP is a cadre based party which is why the MLAs established coordination and elected their leader unanimously in these States,” he said. Bhatt also congratulated Vishnudev Sahay, Mohan Yadav and Bhajan Lal Sharma for being chosen as the chief ministers of Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan respectively.
Bhatt further said, “After the President, the Chhattisgarh CM was selected from the Adivasi community which shows the commitment of the party to take the ignored section of society forward. Similarly, handing over the reins of the CM’s office to an OBC party worker in Madhya Pradesh shows that our policy and decisions also accord importance to the backward section of society. Selection of Bhajan Lal for the post of Rajasthan CM shows the maturity of the party in choosing an able and capable party worker from the general category,” the BJP State president said.
