Saturday, 23 December 2023 | PNS | Lucknow

The Bharatiya Janata Party is set to organise a special ‘Ram Darshan Abhiyan’ from January 24. During this initiative, the party plans to facilitate free train journeys for five crore Ram devotees to visit the sacred site of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya.

The campaign is scheduled to run from January 24 to March 24, covering various regions across India, with particular focus on Bihar.

As part of this extensive initiative, a dedicated ‘Ram Darshan Special Train’ will run from 275 railway stations to transport devotees to Ayodhya. The special train aims to cater to over two crore devotees from Bihar, providing them with the opportunity to witness the grandeur of the Ram temple.

This massive undertaking reflects the BJP’s commitment to fostering religious sentiments and ensuring access to pilgrimage sites for devotees. The ‘Ram Darshan Abhiyan’ not only symbolises a spiritual journey but also emphasises the importance of Ayodhya as a cultural and religious hub.

The decision to extend this initiative to a significant number of devotees underscores the BJP’s dedication to promoting cultural and religious harmony. By offering free train service, the party aims to make the pilgrimage accessible to a diverse range of individuals, fostering a sense of unity among Ram devotees from different backgrounds.

With the ‘Ram Darshan Abhiyan’ spanning two months and covering the length and breadth of the country, it is poised to be a landmark event that showcases the party’s efforts to connect with the sentiments of millions of devotees and strengthen the cultural fabric of the nation.
