Bomb scare at National Museum

There was a bomb scare in Kolkata’s National Museum when the Kolkata Police on Friday received an email from an unknown group.

The threat mail stated that several bombs were planted inside the Indian Museum, and those would explode any moment,” a police officer said adding the mail also asked the police to publicise the report immediately.

The bomb disposal squad of Kolkata Police and sniffer dogs were immediately rushed to the area and started search operation at the museum around 11.30 am, sources said.
