All India Congress Committee General Secretary and Jharkhand in-charge Ghulam Ahmed Mir started his two-day Jharkhand tour on the second day with the Congress Legislature Party meeting at Congress Bhawan, Ranchi. State Congress Committee President Rajesh Thakur was present in the legislature party meeting.
All ministers and MLAs of Jharkhand Congress attended the meeting and discussed the organisation with the State in charge. All the MLAs presented their suggestions and ideas in the meeting.
In the meeting, State President Rajesh Thakur, Congress Legislature Party leader Alamgir Alam, Minister Dr. Rameshwar Oraon, Banna Gupta, Badal also expressed their views regarding the strength of the organization and the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
Mir said that the government passed the proposal of 27 per cent OBC reservation in the Assembly. The long pending demand for Sarna Dharmacode was passed in the Assembly and sent to the Center for permission. But the Central Government is still sitting idle on such an important proposal related to public faith. This is a serious betrayal of the tribals of Jharkhand. There is a need to convey this to the public.
He said that our national leader Rahul Gandhi wants that caste census should be conducted in Jharkhand also, so that government schemes and their participation can be ensured to the deprived people.
After the meeting of the Legislature Party, Jharkhand in-charge held a meeting with the Political Affairs Committee and Lok Sabha in-charge, in which the strategy for 2024 general elections was discussed and discussed.
By passing a resolution in the meeting, Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge was authorized to take the final decision on seat sharing in the upcoming 2024 Lok Sabha elections. The committee also decided that whoever will be made the candidate; the party leaders and workers will unite and support him and will work towards ensuring the victory of the candidates.
After this, Jharkhand in-charge held a meeting with the heads of the board, corporation and leading organizations. In this meeting there was a detailed discussion regarding organization building.
State President Rajesh Thakur said that the heads of all the leading organizations should form committees for organization building up to the Panchayat level and booth level, where it has been done and where it has not been done, they should form committees as soon as possible to strengthen the organization. So that in the 2024 general elections, the slogan of Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi can be implemented on the ground and the India Coalition government can be formed at the Center in 2024.
MLAs Naman Viksal Kongadi, Umashankar Akela, Amba Prasad, Sonaram Sinku Ramchandra Singh, Bhushan Bada, Pradeep Yadav, Shilpi Neha Tirkey, Rajesh Kachhap were present in the meeting.
Pranab Jha, Pradeep Balmuchu, Sukhdev Bhagat, Pradeep Yadav, Jaleshwar Mahato, Shahzada Anwar, Furkan Ansari, KN Tripathi, Brajendra Prasad Singh, Kalicharan Munda, Bhim Kumar, Sanjay Lal Paswan were present in the PAC meeting.
Lok Sabha convenor and in-charge include Mani Shankar, K. N Jha, Jaishankar Pathak, Anwar Ahmed Ansari, Brajendra Prasad Singh, Ajay Dubey, Anadi Brahm, Keshav Mahato Kamlesh Kamlesh, Rama Khalkho, Pradeep Tulsyan, Ashok Chaudhary were included.
