CM directs officers to focus on success of Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra

 Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has said that as per the vision of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) has become a medium to get connected with the people who hitherto have not availed the benefit of government scheme. 

For the successful execution of the VBSY in the state, the CM chaired a meeting of the senior officers of the state administration at the State secretariat on Tuesday. In the meeting the CM directed officers that they should take up the campaign on a mission mode so that the government schemes reach the general public. He directed all the district magistrates who attended the meeting in  virtual mode that a nodal officer at district level should be appointed for the campaign. He said that these nodal officers should submit a daily report. 

Dhami said that the VBSY has become a mode of getting associated with left out beneficiaries of the government schemes. The CM told the officers that the administration should reach out to everyone from the school going children to elderly.

 He said that the objective of the State government is that the people get necessary facilities in their homes. Dhami said that the online system has been made effective for civic amenities. He said that the general public will be able to avail benefit of the welfare schemes only when they will become aware about them.
He directed the DMs that they should ensure that the information to people is given before the vehicles of VBSY are sent to the village Panchayats. Dhami said that the camps should be organised so that on the spot benefit of the schemes being executed by the union and the State government is availed by the people.

He directed the DMs that Member of Parliaments (MP), MLAs and other public representatives are invited in the programmes of the VBSY.

Dhami also directed that all secretaries should also visit the districts for two days for the success of the VBSY. The Yatra will culminate on January 26.

 The Additional Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan, Principal Secretary (PS) R K Sudhanshu, PS L Fenai, secretaries Shailesh Bagoli, Radhika Jha, AS Hyanki, Deependra Chaudhary, additional secretary Ranvir Singh, Anand Swarup and others attended the meeting.

 The additional secretary, government of India Rakesh Sharma, all DMs, CDOs, State general secretary (organisation) of BJP Ajaey Kumar, Aditya Kothari and co convener of VBSY Saurabh Thapliyal attended the meeting in virtual mode.
