Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has expressed grief at the death of six persons following the collapse of a wall at a brick kiln in the Roorkee area of Haridwar on Tuesday. Stating that the incident is very tragic, the chief minister has announced an ex-gratia of Rs two lakh each for the next of kin of those who died in the incident. He also announced Rs 50,000 each as financial assistance for those injured in the mishap. The CM said that the government stands with the bereaved families in this challenging time.
On the directions of the chief minister, the additional secretary to the CM issued a government order regarding the release of the ex-gratia amount for the next of kin of those who died and financial assistance for those injured in the mishap.
