Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai said on Tuesday that the Sikh community's contributions to the struggle for Independence are immeasurable and invaluable.
"As Chief Minister, I aim to fulfill the hopes and dreams of the people of the state," he said.
He said this at a programme held to commemorate Veer Bal Diwas in Raipur.
Sai paid homage to the sacrifice of Guru Gobind Singh and the martyrdom of his sons. He also took part in the customary rituals ‘Kirtan’ and ‘Ardas’.
Cabinet minister Ramvichar Netam, MP Sunil Soni and MLAs Purandar Mishra and Motilal Sahu were present.
