Country’s first Prasadam to be inaugurated on January 7

The country's first Prasadam is going to be inaugurated on January 7 in the Neelkanth forest complex of Shri Mahakal Mahalok of the world famous pilgrimage site Ujjain. This is a remarkable achievement for Madhya Pradesh.

This Prasadam has been developed by Ujjain Smart City Limited under the 'Clean Street Food Hub' program of the Food and Safety Standards Authority of India at a cost of Rs 1 crore 75 lakh, between the Neelkanth forest complex of Shri Mahakal Mahalok and Avantika Haat. In this, a clean street food hub has been created by constructing 17 shops. Parking and other public facilities will be available for the visiting devotees.

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav and Union Health and Family Welfare Minister Mansukh Mandaviya will inaugurate it. He will perform bhumi pujan and inaugurate health institutions worth Rs 218 crore 76 lakh.

For the convenience of devotees visiting Mahakal Lok Complex, Chief Minister Sanjeevani Clinic will be operated at Mahakal Lok Complex, Neelkanth Gate, keeping in mind the health care of more than 1 lakh devotees on an average every day, in which emergency health services will also be available.

Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla, Minister of State for Public Health and Family Welfare Narendra Shivaji Patel will be present on this occasion.

On this occasion, Bhoomi Pujan for 36 health institutions costing Rs 118 crore and 151 health institutions costing Rs 100 crore 69 lakh will be inaugurated. For this, Rs 189 crore 89 lakh has been made available by the Central Government while Rs 28 crore 87 lakh has been provided by the State Government.

With an aim of strengthening the urban health facilities for the citizens, urban health institutions were approved under the 15th Finance Commission. Under this, 54 Chief Minister Sanjeevani Clinics will be inaugurated. In these, 12 types of primary health facilities, 67 types of testing facilities and 208 types of medicines will be provided free of cost. Besides, 2 Block Public Health Units (CHC Hatod and CHC Saver, District Indore) will be inaugurated, which will provide testing services. Through these centres, information related to epidemics and health will reach the institutions at the district, state and national level.

Under the Prime Minister Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission, three integrated public health labs (Vidisha, Betul and Ujjain) will be inaugurated at a cost of Rs 3 crore 49 lakh. Citizens will be able to get 132 types of testing services at one place in the district hospital. Under this mission, 6 BRHUs will also be inaugurated. Bhoomi Pujan of the new Integrated Public Health Laboratory will be performed in 13 districts (Chhatarpur, Jhabua, Seoni, Guna, Bhopal, Khandwa, Barwani, Damoh, Balaghat, Tikamgarh, Shivpuri and Singrauli).

Under Emergency Covid Response Package-? an additional 20 bedded ward will be inaugurated in Civil Hospital Badnagar, Ujjain at a cost of Rs 1 crore 68 lakh. Three community health centers and eight primary health centers are being inaugurated at a cost of Rs 28 crore 87 lakh from the state fund.

Under the National Health Mission, bhumi pujan/inauguration of 97 works will be done at a cost of Rs 148 crore 45 lakh. In this, 40 seater hostels will be inaugurated in three district hospitals, three primary health centres, 66 Ayushman Arogya Mandirs and Regional Training Centre. Under the mission, Bhoomi Pujan of 8 district hospitals, 1 community health center, 1 primary health center, 2 sub health centers, 4 maternal and child health wings, and 5 staff quarter works will also be performed.
