Cyber Crime branch Bhopal arrested the absconding accused, who pretended to be an employee of Paytm and defrauded merchants worth lakhs of rupees from several victims.
The accused used to target businessmen in the name of repairing Paytm (sound box) machines. The accused was previously an employee of Paytm company.

The accused always used to commit fraud by wearing the ID card of Paytm company around his neck. The accused targeted many businessmen in Bhopal city and surrounding districts.
Posing as a Paytm employee, Cyber Crime Branch Bhopal arrested the accused who committed fraud of Rs 48,000 on repairing the sound box machine and was formerly absconding in the cases of Awadhpuri police station and Chhola Mandir, from Ganj Basoda Vidisha.
Neeraj Badhwani lodged a complaint with the police and during the investigation, taking the case seriously, taking prompt action, the accused Ravi Vishwakarma was arrested from Ganjbasoda, Vidisha.
Posing as a Paytm employee, he used to cheat people in the name of fixing the problems of Paytm (Sound Box) machines. The accused used to cheat the online kiosk shopkeepers by taking money in cash by transferring the fraudulent money from the traders to the account of any online kiosk.
From the accused a Paytm card was recovered, ID card and four SIMs were recovered.
