Dense fog witnessed in several cities of MP

Dense fog was witnessed in several cities of Madhya Pradesh on Sunday morning. Four vehicles collided in dense fog on National Highway-44 in Sagar killing two people who were injured in the accident.

In Guna 7 trucks collided due to dense fog. A truck crushed a couple in Shivpuri on Sunday morning due to fog in which the couple died on the spot.

Gwalior was the coldest on Saturday night. The mercury here reached 7.5 degrees Celsius. In Pachmarhi it was 8.6 degree Celsius. Due to the activity of Western Disturbance in North India and change in wind direction, the temperature during night and day has increased by 2 to 8 degrees. However, the warmth of the sun failed to provide any relief due to the chilly cold winds.

Bhopal recorded 12.6 degree celsius on Saturday night while 29.3 degree celsius was recorded during the day on Sunday.

The Met has issued a warning of dense fog in Gwalior, Datia, Bhind, Morena, Chhatarpur districts. Light or moderate fog at isolated places in Vidisha, Neemuch, Guna, Ashoknagar, Shivpuri, Sheopur Kalan, Satna, Panna, Damoh, Tikamgarh districts.

Meteorologists say that the weather will remain like this for the next two days. Intense cold will again show its effect from December 26 onwards. There is an effect of Western Disturbance in Madhya Pradesh, but the clouds are at a high altitude. For this reason there is no chance of rain. There will be no rain anywhere in the state for the next few days.

The flight from Bhopal to Agra was canceled on Sunday morning. The information was received by the passengers after reaching Rajabhoj Airport, due to which 51 passengers faced troubled. The flight was canceled due to bad weather in Agra.

The night temperatures on Saturday night temperature in major cities was recorded (in degree celsius) Bhopal 12.6, Indore 12.4, Gwalior 7.5, Jabalpur 10, Ujjain 11.8, Rajgarh 7.6, Datia 8, Nowgong 8, Raisen 8.1, Khajuraho 8.4,Khargon 8.6, Khandwa 9, Mandala 9.5,Rewa 9.5,Tikamgarh 9.5, Guna 9.8.
