Adra Division of South Eastern Railway announces modifications to train services due to ongoing developmental works. The following adjustments will be in effect:
Cancellation of Trains: Train No. 08644/08643 Asansol-Adra-Asansol MEMU Special on 04.01.2024 and 06.01.2024 stands canceled. Train No. 08647/08648 Adra-Barabhum-Adra MEMU Special on 02.01.2024 is canceled.
Short Termination/Origination of Trains: Train No. 03594/03593 Asansol-Purulia-Asansol MEMU Special on 02.01.2024 will be short terminated at/short originated from Adra. Train No. 08174/08652 Tatanagar-Asansol-Barabhum MEMU Special on 07.01.2024 will be short terminated at/short originated from Adra.
Train No. 08680/08679 Adra-Midnapur-Adra MEMU Special on 02.01.2024, 05.01.2024 & 07.01.2024 will be short terminated at/short originated from Bankura.
Train No. 18035/18036 Kharagpur-Hatia-Kharagpur Express on 02.01.2024 will be short terminated at/short originated from Adra.
Diversion of Train: Train No. 18601 Tatanagar-Hatia Express on 01.01.2024, 03.01.2024, 05.01.2024 & 07.01.2024 will run on a diverted route via Chandil-Gunda Bihar-Muri.
Officials emphasize that passengers stay informed about the revised schedules and plan their journeys accordingly during this period of adjustments.
Five-Hour Mega Block in Chakradharpur Division, Disruption in Train Services
Jamshedpur: The Railways has scheduled a five-hour mega block in the Chakradharpur division starting this Saturday, resulting in the cancellation of several trains. The mega block will affect the Chakradharpur-Bisra station up line and Jharsuguda-Rourkela station down line.
The Chakradharpur-Bisra station block will be implemented every Wednesday on January 3, 10, and 17, from 12 noon to 5 pm. Meanwhile, the Jharsuguda-Rourkela station block will take place every Saturday on December 30, January 6, 13, and 20, from 2 pm to 7 pm.
Rolling blocks are also scheduled in Adra division from January 1 to January 7. As a consequence of these blocks, various trains, including 08163/08164 Chakradharpur-Rourkela-Chakradharpur MEMU special, 08168/08167 Jharsuguda-Rourkela MEMU, 18125/18126 Rourkela-Puri-Rourkela Express, and others, will be canceled on specific dates.
Passengers are advised to check the revised schedules and plan their travel accordingly.
