Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami attended the swearing-in ceremony of new chief minister of Rajasthan Bhajanlal Sharma in Jaipur on Friday. In the ceremony held in historic Ramniwas Bagh two deputy CMs, Diya Kumari and Prem Chand Bairwa also took oath of office and secrecy.
Congratulating the newly appointed CM, Dhami said that under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and able leadership of Bhajanlal Sharma, Rajasthan will move forward on the path of development. He said that the double engine government will ensure that new dimensions of all round development are achieved by Rajasthan. Dhami also congratulated Diya Kumari and Prem Chand Bairwa .
In the recently held assembly elections in Rajasthan, CM Dhami had campaigned extensively in support of BJP candidates. He had held road shows and addressed election meetings in Sanganer, Viratnagar, Sangod, Ramganjmandi and Dag assembly constituencies. Incidentally BJP candidates secured victories in all the five assemblies where Dhami campaigned. The new CM of Rajasthan Bhajanlal Sharma won from Sanganer assembly constituency.
