A farewell ceremony was organized in the Main Auditorium of the Human Resource Development Department of BSL for the employees retiring from Bokaro Steel Plant in the month of December 2023. In this function, Chief General Manager (Materials Management) Anil Kumar was present as the chief guest and Chief General Manager (Internal Audit) Prabhat Kumar Nayak was present as the special guest.

At the beginning of the function, Senior Manager (Personnel) Ms. Ankita Dev welcomed the visitors. Further she gave information related to the final settlement and Maitri Bhawan to the retiring employees and presented the biodata of each retiring employee.

CGM (Materials Management) Anil Kumar and CGM (Internal Audit) Prabhat Kumar Nayak congratulated the retiring employees for their loyal service and wished them a happy life. He also presented service certificates and gifts to the retiring employees. Notably A total of 18 executives and 29 non-executives are retiring from BSL in the month of December' 2023. A separate farewell ceremony was organized for Executive Director (Material Management) Amitabh Srivastava in the conference room of the Director-in-charge. Notably during the farewell ceremony of Executive Director (Material Management) Amitabh Srivastava, Director Incharge, Rourkela Steel Plant and Additional Incharge Bokaro Steel Plant Atanu Bhowmik was connected through video conferencing and Chief General Managers of various departments along with Executive Directors were also present. During the ceremony, important achievements related to the service period of Amitabh Shrivastava were remembered. Executive Director (Works) Birendra Kumar Tiwari presented memento to him. Everyone wished the retiring Amitabh Shrivastava all the best for his future life.
