A felicitation meeting was held at ICOME, Gwalior to felicitate the winners of the 42nd National Yogasana Competition held in Kolkata.
The 42nd National Yogasana Competition was organized at Sindhu Kanhu Indoor Stadium, Durgapur, Kolkata, West Bengal. 650 participants of different age groups from across the country participated in this competition. 30 teams from Madhya Pradesh also participated, out of which 4 participants won medals with their excellent performance. It is also noteworthy that many players from Madhya Pradesh performed well and made it to the top 15. In the men's category, Vivek Gupta got the 6th position, Abhishek Shinde got the 7th position, Vansh Tiwari got the 8th position, Rajesh Kushwaha got the 9th position and Himanshu Dubey got the 11th position. In the 8 to 18 years sub junior and junior women category, Angel Sharma got the 12th position, Bhumi Gupta got the 13th position, Tanushka Bade got the 11th position, Tanishka Prajapati got the 12th position and Manya Jain got the 13th position respectively.
For their good performance these players were honored by the District President of Madhya Pradesh Amateur Yoga Association, Dr. Keshav Pandey and other officials at ICOME Media Centre, Padav and wished them a bright future.
On this occasion, MP Amateur Association President Ajay Tiwari, State Secretary Bhupendra Kant, Arun Sharma, Barkha Namdev, Sunil Dutt, Rajesh Kushwaha, Rajendra Mudgal, Manish Sharma, Shyam Kumar and Gaurav Sharma, among others were present.
