The 99th free urology and general surgery camp will be organized at Sewa Sadan Eye Hospital based at Sant Hirdaram Nagar from February 14, 2024.
This camp will be held in the collaboration of Jeev Sewa Sansthan. In the urology and General Surgery camp, free examination of diseases related to urinary obstruction like urinary stones, enlarged prostate, hydrocele and general surgery like hernia, Gal bladder, Parotids, thyroid diseases, increased mass near the head and neck and Treatment will be done.
Among these, if there is any patient whose disease can be cured only by operation, then his operation will also be done free of cost. Registration of patients has already started from January 1st, 2024 in the IHL wing of Sewa Sadan Eye Hospital from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. Registration will be done from 9 am to 2 pm till February 14th, 2024, except Sundays. Patients can also register their names on mobile number 6260392547. On "first come, first serve" basis, patients will be provided free check-up, treatment and operation facilities in the camp.
The 99th Free Urology and General Surgery Camp will run from February 14 to 26, 2024.
From February 14 to 16, doctors will examine all mentioned disease and related tests will also be done. The patients identified for operation will be admitted to the hospital on February 17th. The operations of the patients will be performed by Urology and General Surgeons from 19th to 23rd February 2024. The operated patients will be discharged from the hospital after post-operative care. All types of pathological tests, sonography, X-ray, uroflowmetry test, operation if necessary, hospitalization, medicines, food, milk, fruits and pre and post operative care will be provided to the patients free of cost In the camp. In view to avail the services and facilities being provided in the camp, the patients must bring a photocopy of their UID card and the mobile number of any family member or relative. If patients suffering from urinary obstruction and other diseases have ever undergone treatment before, they must bring their old prescriptions and test reports.
Paramhans Sant Hirdaram Sahib Ji started organizing free urology camps in Sant Nagar from the year 1994. Since then, a total of 98 camps have been organized till 2023. In 98 camps held from 1994 to 2023, 51,400 patients were examined and treated, while free urology operations were performed on 11,145 patients. These include 3641 prostate, 1990 stone, 2162 hernia, 476 circumcision, 618 cystoscopy, 404 URS, 545 bladder stone and 1213 other types of surgeries. Dr. C.P. Dewani, Dr. Sudhir Lokwani, Dr. Rajendra Punjabi, Dr. Deepak Jain, Dr. Deepak Jhangiani, Dr, T.K. Gyanchandani, Dr. G.T. Khemchandani, Dr. Dilip Chotrani, Dr. Preeti Motiyani, Dr. Lal Kishnani have given their consent to participate in the camp.
