The vibrant state of Goa is gearing up to host the second edition of the prestigious India Energy Week (IEW) from February 6 to 9, 2024, at the IPSHEM-ONGC Training Institute in the southern part of the state. Anticipated to attract over 35,000 participants from more than 100 countries, IEW 2024 is poised to be a significant platform for global energy stakeholders to exchange ideas, explore opportunities, and showcase India's successful strategies in meeting both energy security and climate change challenges.
The inaugural edition of IEW earlier this year witnessed immense success, inaugurated by the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi. Acknowledging the resilience in India's energy sector and its potential as a demand center, ministers, CEOs, and energy leaders appreciated the country's efforts in charting a roadmap for energy transition while ensuring energy security for its people. IEW 2023 attracted nearly 37,000 attendees from 149 countries, featured 326 companies in exhibitions, and hosted 315 speakers in over 80 conference sessions.
Organized by the Federation of Indian Petroleum Industry (FIPI) under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Government of India, IEW 2024 is expected to be a catalyst for meaningful discussions, knowledge exchange, and collaboration among industry experts, policymakers, academia, and entrepreneurs. The event aims to draw over 35,000 attendees, 350+ exhibitors, 400+ speakers, and 4,000+ delegates from across the globe.
