Chhattisgarh Director General of Police Ashok Juneja on Wednesday told his force to increase mobility to curb crime and anti-social elements.
Maintain vigilant patrols on the state’s borders to prevent illicit transportation of paddy from other states, he told a meeting with all Range Inspector Generals and Superintendents of Police in Raipur.
In view of the property-related crimes, Juneja told the officials to increase night patrols.
He also told them to deploy police forces at crowded places like hotels, markets and temples to ensure peace and security on the occasion of New Year.
