The Jagatsinghpur BJD celebrated the party’s 27th foundation day here on Tuesday with the top leaders taking oaths to build a Nabin Odisha under the leadership of CM Naveen Patnaik.
Government Chief Whip and MLA Prasanta Muduli accompanied by other party leaders offered floral tribute at the statue of Biju Patnaik at Thana Chhak here earlier and then a rally was taken out from there.
Speaking on the occasion, the BJD leaders said that CM Patnaik has been working tirelessly to build a prosperous, empowered, and self-respecting new Odisha since 2000.
The meeting was attended by Jagatsinghpur district BJD working president Jyoutish Das, vice president Dipiti Das, farmers cell president Prakash Bastia, Jagatsinghpur and Naugaon block chairpersons, ZP members, besides women leaders Rajashree Mohapatra and Kanaka Swain.
