Acting on the secret information received by SP, Kudu police station has seized drugs being sent to Punjab. A huge quantity of illegal drugs was being sent from Ranchi to Punjab via Kudu-Palamu in a truck loaded with rice. Information: SP formed a raiding team along with police station in-charge Kudu and directed to do checking on Ranchi Kudu road. Police station in-charge Kudu and other police officers started checking near Kokar Goga Patra. At 12.30 pm on Saturday, a Punjab number truck covered with tarpaulin was seen. The truck was stopped by signaling it to stop. Thereafter, after a proper search of the truck, a total of 74 bags of intoxicant and illegal doda were recovered among the sacks of rice loaded on the truck. Since there were no documents for the recovered Doda, action has been initiated by duly seizing 74 bags of illegal Doda. The driver-cum-owner of truck number PB11CB-5370 and his colleague traveling on it have been arrested on the spot.
Police interrogation revealed that the illegal drug Doda was being smuggled from Ranchi to Punjab for sale. In this matter, case number: 04/24 has been registered in Kudu police station and action has been started under sections 15, 18, 22, 27, 27(A), 29 NDPS Act. 74 sacks of illegal doda, whose total weight was 1491.450 kg (fourteen hundred and fifty one kilos and four hundred and fifty grams), mobile phones of five different companies used in the incident have been seized from the captured truck. Whereas Ramshrestha Paswan, age around 40 years, Pay- Late Amrit Paswan, Pay- Ramnagar, Mandi Govindgar, Police Station Mandi Govindgar, District-Fatehgarh (Punjab), Inderjit Kumar, age around 26 years, Father- Late Manoj Paswan, Address- Bariatu, Police Station- Bariatu, District- Latehar has been arrested. The raiding team included DSP Parmeshwar Prasad, Police Inspector Mantu Kumar, Station Incharge Vishwajeet Kumar Singh, ASI Lavkush Singh, Suku Soren, Manoj Prajapati, Gautam Kumar, Sandeep Kumar Singh, Prabhudas Kujur, Pawan Kumar Singh, Javed Akhtar, Raju Mahato, Macsen Kindo. , Home Guard Neeraj Kumar Mishra, Driver and ASI Binod Kumar Singh, Driver Nirmal Marshall Minj etc. were included.
