Mega campaign lined up ahead of Ram Temple opening event

Ahead of January 22, the day of the consecration ceremony of the Ram temple, traders and business communities have decided to launch a national campaign “Har Shahar Ayodhya-Ghar Ghar Ayodhya”, from January 1, 2024, across the Country.

The consecration day will be celebrated like the Diwali festival across India. Under the campaign, more than 5,000 “Ram Ferries” (Ram Shobha Yatra) will be organised in the markets across the country.

These “Ram Feris” will create enthusiasm and connect the people in the markets through chanting Ram Bhajans, while more than 2,500 “Ram Samvad” programmes will also be organised. Traders body also asked traders and business communities to put up Shri Ram Mandir stickers and posters on their shops, establishments and vehicles.

It is also suggested that, to preserve the memory of Ram Mandir, they should gift the “replica of Ram Mandir” to each other and keep them at their homes and establishments. The Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) has issued an advisory to thousands of trade organisations across the country, advising that from January 1 to January 22, trade associations in every city of all the States of the country should join hands with other social and cultural organisations. CAIT national secretary General Praveen Khandelwal said a target has been set to organise bhajan-kirtan programmes of Lord Shri Ram by organising more than 5,000 “Ram Chowki”, in maximum markets and houses of traders across the country. He said the Vishwa Hindu Parishad has called to make memorable the consecration programme of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya on  January 22, and to celebrate the day like Diwali festival.

“On the day of the consecration of Lord Ram, all the markets across the country including Delhi will be illuminated with attractive lights, while on the same day, Shri Ram Mandir will be lit at many places in temples and other public places in all the cities across the country including Delhi.

Arrangements will also be made to show live telecast of the Ayodhya event to the people through big LEDs by placing models and pictures and on that day, traders will fully celebrate all the programs decided by Vishwa Hindu Parishad in their cities”, Khandelwal said.

He said a target has been set to organise bhajan programmes of Lord Shri Ram by organising more than 5,000 ‘Ram Chowki’, in maximum markets and houses of traders across the country. The traders body has also requested that hoardings should also be put up in the markets. Shri Ram Mandir stickers, posters etc. should be put up on shops and vehicles and Shri Ram cards will be distributed.

The Yogi Government in Uttar Pradesh will hold recitation of the Ram Charitmanas and Hanuman Chalisa in all prestigious temples and ‘muths’. The programme will start from January 14 and continue till the consecration ceremony.  As per plan, every district, through the District Tourism and Culture Council, local artists will continuously recite Ramcharitmanas and Hanuman Chalisa from Makar Sankranti on January 14 till the consecration of Ramlala on January 22, 2024.
