Accused convicted of murder of youth sentenced to life imprisonment in the court of Seventeenth Additional Sessions Judge Rakesh Jamra on Saturday in the state capital.
Murder accused Jitendra Kumar Mehra was punished with imprisonment for life under section 302 of the IPC. This decision was pronounced by the court of Seventeenth Additional Sessions Judge Rakesh Jamra on Saturday.
Additional Public Prosecutor Sabir Siddiqui argued on behalf of the government in the case and told that the accused murdered Satish Soni in Kaushal Nagar Misrod Bhopal on August 26, 2018 by pouring hot water on him and hitting him with a hot pan when he was in deep sleep.
The murder was done over illicit relations. The deceased Satish Soni had illicit relations with the accused's wife Vimala. The court has also punished with a fine of Rs.2000.
Meanwhile three accused who entered the house and molested the woman got 1 year imprisonment each and fine. In the year 2013, at 10.00 pm, the accused had entered the woman's house and molested her.
JMFC Bhopal Ankita Srivastava Judicial three accused Lalit Kushwaha, Bhupendra Thapa alias Bhaiyya and Ritesh Joshi father who entered the house and molested the woman. The accused, all residents of Ashoka Garden, have been sentenced to rigorous imprisonment of a year each under section 452, 354 IPC and 6 months rigorous imprisonment under section 323 and 34 of IPC and a total of Rs.600 fine. In the said case, the prosecution was conducted by Manoj Tripathi ADPO on behalf of the government.
ADPO Tripathi told that at 10 in the night on January 2, 2013 that the victim was with her maternal grandparents and brother. His mother had gone to the back of the house to give tiffin, Ritesh Joshi, Lalit Kushwaha and Bhupendra entered the house grabbed her hand with an evil intention and started pulling on the clothes she was wearing.
Hearing the ruckus, the people of the locality came to rescue but the accused escaped.
