Naxal monument razed in Sukma

Chhattisgarh Police demolished a huge monument built by Naxalites in Salatong village in Sukma district on Tuesday. Assistant Superintendent of Police (Naxal Operation) Prabhat Kumar and his team demolished the monument built in the middle of the village.

The action was taken as part of a Naxalite eradication campaign. A massive search operation is underway in the entire district. Under the directions of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, the police and security forces have intensified action against Naxalites, an official communiqué said.
