Senior volunteers of Ramdhun organizing committee T.D. Adwani and Anil Chotrani appealed the people to participate in 24 hours long Akhand Ramdhun on January 22, 2024 in Sant Hirdaram Nagar.
The Akhand Ramdhun will be held on the occasion of installation and consecration of the statue of Lord Shri Ram in the sanctum sanctorum of the newly constructed Ram Janmabhoomi temple at Ayodhya. Ramdhun will be organized in Sadhu Vaswani School premises.
Women will recite Ramdhun from 9 am to 6 pm and male devotees will observe Ramdhun from 6 pm to 9 am the next day. Ramdhun will be organized by Akhand Ramdhuni Committee. It is known that Sant Hirdaram Sahib Ji had started organizing seven-day Akhand Ramdhun in Sant Nagar continuously since the year 1964. The residents of the Sant Nagar participate in Ramdhun with full devotion.
On the occasion Saint Siddh Bhauji has said that organizing Akhand Ramdhun develops spiritual consciousness in the Indian society. The vow of life of Maryada Purushottam Prabhu Shri Ram inspires the society to live an ideal life with penance and sacrifice. He has said that after five hundred and fifty years, the installation of a grand and divine statue of Lord Shri Ram at the birthplace of Shri Ram in Ayodhya makes the Ram devotee society of the entire world proud.
Sant Siddh Bhauji has appealed to the residents of Sant Nagar to light five lamps at their homes and business establishments on this auspicious occasion of 22 January 2024 and celebrate that day like Diwali. Saint Siddh Bhauji has said that lamps lit in the name of Lord Shri Ram will be helpful in developing spiritual consciousness in the lives of all of us.
