Training was given to the deputed sector and police officials as well as the Designated Police Officer (DPO) in the sector formed under Ranchi district for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections-2024. Sector and police officials were given training by district level master trainers during the stipulated period at Birsa Munda Football Stadium, Morhabadi.

During this time, all the sector magistrates and sector police officers were given important information about staying in constant touch with each other, inspecting the polling stations in their respective areas and filling various types of forms etc.

During the training, all the sector and sector police officials were given detailed information about the manual issued for sector and sector police officials for the Lok Sabha General Elections 2024 by Deputy Election Officer, Ranchi Vivek Kumar Suman. He also informed everyone about the work to be done before, during and after the elections, filling of various types of forms etc.

He said that the availability of all types of basic facilities in the polling centers should also be inspected so that the deficiencies can be filled within the stipulated time. He also directed to inspect the sensitive polling stations and share their information so that all necessary arrangements can be made for them. Apart from this, he also gave instructions to maintain necessary coordination with booth level officers.

On January 4, 2024, training will be given to sector and police officers within the stipulated period.
