As per the direction of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, 5T and Nabin Odisha Chairman VK Pandian on Thursday visited Angul and Dhenkanal districts to review the progress of various developmental works.
Pandian took stock of the progress of major projects in Angul district such as mega PWS to Chhendipada, Talcher, Kaniha, Pallahara, Athmallik and Kishorenagar blocks, Pabitra Mohan Setu on river Brahmani at a cost of 64.5 crore, road projects from Sibida to Khadaka Kumbharmati road, Pallahara farm to Naikanipalli road and Dhalgadia-Siaria road.
He also interacted with people at Gadasantri and Khamar in Angul district and Sarang and Parjang in Dhenkanal district and received the grievances on various issues and assured their early resolution.
Later, he reviewed the progress of major projects in Dhenkanal district including the HL Bridge over river Brahmani near Badakhamar on Khadagprasad Badakhamar Pangatira road and improvement of Gudiakateni to Hindol road.
Some major projects have been taken up after the previous visit of Pandian to Angul and Dhenkanal districts in July when he attended the grievance meetings and took feedback from the locals.
