The street festival, ‘Patha Utsav’, returned to the city on Sunday and a large number of residents thronged the road from Master Canteen Square to Ram Mandir Square.
Musical and different cultural programmes and a wide range of sporting activities for children were organised.
Braving the early morning chill, people gathered at the venue in large numbers and made the event a grand success. The Patha Utsav is being organised to promote the message of staying fit and keeping the city clean and green.
City Mayor Sulochana Das said, “Today, Patha Utsav has been resumed and thousands of people have participated in it. A special event 'Bhubaneswar Has Got Talent' was also organised.”
“A special rangoli event, a health camp and other awareness drives were undertaken today,” she added.
