Foggy conditions will continue during the morning in the plains on Wednesday. On Tuesday, the provisional State capital witnessed the minimum temperature dropping two degrees below normal while the maximum temperature was two degrees above normal. For Wednesday, the State meteorological centre has forecast that dry weather is likely to prevail in the districts of the State. Further, shallow to moderate fog is likely to occur in some parts of Haridwar and Udham Singh Nagar districts during the morning hours.
Dehradun is forecast to witness a mainly clear sky with mist likely to occur during the morning hours. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be about 24 degrees Celsius and six degrees Celsius respectively in Dehradun today. The maximum and minimum temperatures recorded in various parts of the State on Tuesday were 23.9 degrees Celius and 5.1 degrees Celsius respectively in Dehradun, 22 degrees Celsius and 4.2 degrees Celsius in Pantnagar, 16.4 degrees Celsius and two degrees Celsius in Mukteshwar ad 18 degrees Celsius and 3.6 degrees Celsius in New Tehri.
