In a compassionate move under the umbrella of community policing, Superintendent of Police, Rural, East Singhbhum, Jamshedpur, Rishab Garg, orchestrated a programme aimed at aiding the vulnerable Sabar tribe community. The initiative took place in the jurisdiction of Kotwali police station, where blankets were distributed to those in need.

As part of the ongoing community policing efforts, the police organised a thoughtful programme to address the pressing needs of the Sabar tribe, an indigenous community residing in the region. Recognising the challenges posed by the winter season, especially for those without adequate resources, the distribution of blankets aimed to provide warmth and comfort to the underprivileged.

The event, marked by a spirit of solidarity and shared responsibility, witnessed the active participation of local law enforcement personnel and community members. Garg, leading by example, personally handed over blankets to members of the Sabar tribe, emphasising the commitment of the police force to serve and protect not only through law enforcement but also through community welfare initiatives.

He expressed his sentiments, saying, "Community policing goes beyond traditional law enforcement. It is about forging connections, understanding the needs of our diverse communities, and actively participating in initiatives that enhance the quality of life for everyone."

A representative from the Sabar tribe expressed gratitude, stating, "We appreciate the thoughtful gesture from the police department. This act of kindness has brought warmth to our hearts during the cold winter days."

This event marks the beginning of a series of community-centric initiatives planned by the East Singhbhum police department. Superintendent Garg affirmed the commitment to fostering positive relationships with all communities within the jurisdiction, ensuring a safer and more inclusive environment for everyone.

The police department encourages collaboration and partnership with community members to identify and address local issues, strengthening the bond between law enforcement and the public.

Superintendent Rishab Garg's proactive approach to community policing reflects a commitment to creating a safer and more compassionate society. The distribution of blankets to the Sabar tribe exemplifies the department's dedication to addressing the immediate needs of vulnerable communities, fostering goodwill, and building trust between law enforcement and the residents they serve.
