In anticipation of New Year celebrations, the Senior Superintendent of Police Kishore Kaushal, Superintendent of Police, City,Mukesh Lunayat spearheaded a comprehensive initiative to combat various social issues and ensure a secure environment for the public. The focus areas included curbing drug abuse, preventing loitering, addressing teasing incidents, combating illegal parking on roads, tackling drunk driving, managing rough driving, and addressing other criminal activities.

With the overarching goal of fostering positive relations between law enforcement and the community, foot patrolling was implemented. Sensitive areas under Bishtupur, Golmuri, Telco, Sakchi, Sitaramdera, and other police stations across the city were identified for heightened attention. The initiative aimed to establish coordination, enhance public safety, and create a sense of security among residents.
