As winter's chill and cold waves grip the region, the underprivileged find themselves at the mercy of compassionate donors. The Rotary Club of Jamshedpur West, in a heartwarming gesture, expressed respect and gratitude to the recipients in the adopted Chimpti Tola Phadia village, acknowledging their acceptance of a small token of warmth.
In a collaborative effort with morning walkers, the Rotary Club of Jamshedpur West organised a significant visit to the villagers. A large group of volunteers, including members of the Rotary Club and morning walkers, distributed essential winter clothing and nutritious food items to address the pressing needs of the community.
For the men, cardigans were distributed, ensuring they are shielded from the biting cold. School students, numbering 80, received warm hoodies and jackets, ensuring their comfort and well-being during the harsh winter months. Women of the village were provided with cotton sarees, a thoughtful gesture recognizing their specific needs.
The program, sponsored by Bishwanath Sonthalia, the Distributor of HaldiRam Bhujia in Jharkhand, along with a group of morning walkers, exemplified the spirit of community and collaboration. The coordination efforts of JB Singh played a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth execution of the winter relief program.
Prominent figures, including Amresh Sinha, Harbhajan Singh, and Gaurav Kumar Singh, attended the program, further emphasizing the commitment of Rotary Club members to community service and welfare.
