The President of the Sarva Adivasi Samaj and former Union Minister Arvind Netam said on Tuesday that Chief Minister-designate Vishnu Deo Sai will pave a new path of development for the tribal areas in Chhattisgarh.
“Being from the tribal community, Sai will understand the challenges, sentiments and conditions of the tribal areas,” he said.
“There has been a gap in communication between the government and the tribal society. Hopefully, Sai will bridge this gap," he said.
Netam expressed happiness over the appointment of a chief minister from the tribal community.
Arvind Netam was a deputy minister of education in 1973.
