SBI Ladies Club has always been discharging its social obligations towards the society from time to time as a part of its Community Social Service. Going further in discharging their social responsibility for removing single use polythene which has already been implemented across the country from July 01, 2022 onwards and in order to make the campaign successful, the ladies club members distributed a large number of cotton bags in the weekly HAAT of Bitthan Market.
Two types of bags, small and big sizes were distributed there by ladies Club
members. On this occasion, Asha Mishra, President, ladies Club, appealed all the people present there to boycott single use polythene and urged them to use cloth bags and conveyed the message for planting more and more tree in this rainy season, expressing concern over the deteriorating environmental condition.
The customers and shopkeepers present there applauded this initiative taken by the SBI Ladies Club against the use of polythene. Apart from Asha Mishra, President, SBI Women’s Club Bhopal Circle, a large number of other members including the office bearers of the Ladies Club were also present on the occasion.
