Second Transco premier cricket league begins

Under the aegis of MP Power Transmission Company, the second inter-departmental Transco Premier League Cricket was inaugurated by Engineer Sunil Tiwari, Managing Director of Madhya Pradesh Power Transmission Company at Pandutal Ground, Rampur. In his address, he highlighted the purpose of organizing the competition and said that amidst the office work, a sports competition like this once a year infuses new energy among the employees. He said that in last year's experience it was seen that after the competition the personnel performed their work in a better way.

Teams of Power Angels, System Bulls and EHT Giants won their first matches

Three matches took place today on the first day of the competition. In the first women's match, Power Angels team defeated Star Strikers by 10 wickets.

Playing first, Star Strikers team scored 52 runs in 8 overs with the help of 13 runs from Megha Chakraborty. Akansha Ben and Reshma Chaudhary took two wickets each. In reply, with the help of Monica's 24 runs and Rajni Maravi's 14 runs, Power Rangers easily won the match by 10 wickets.

In the men's match today, System Bulls defeated Power Barriers team by a margin of 30 runs. System Bulls, playing first, scored 109 runs in the stipulated 12 overs. In reply, Power Warriors team could score only 79 runs for 8 wickets in 12 overs. Yaduraj Rai of System Bulls scored 29 runs in 20 balls with the help of three fours and two sixes.

For Power Warriors, Praveen Garg scored 20 runs and Mukal scored 17 runs.

For System Bulls, Aminur Rahman took 3 wickets for 18 runs, Praveen Garg took 3 wickets for 19 runs and Shahwaz took 2 wickets for 9 runs.

In today's third match, EHT Joints team defeated Testing Titans by 22 runs. EST Joints team was out after scoring 82 runs in 11.3 overs in which Sikdar scored 31 and Saurabh Tiwari scored 18. In reply, Testing Titans could score only 60 runs in 10.5 overs in front of the lethal bowling of SC Ghosh. SC Ghosh took 4 wickets for 15 runs. Chetan Yadav of Testing Titans scored 17 runs.
