State in grip of dense fog, visibility in Gwalior 50 metre

Before the Western Disturbance becomes active, Madhya Pradesh is firmly gripped by dense fog. Especially in Gwalior, it is becoming difficult to see even 50 meters away. There was dense fog here on Friday.

At the same time, on Thursday, amidst fog, the maximum temperature of the day reached 15.7 degrees.

On Friday, the Meteorological Department issued an alert of very dense fog in 7 districts including Gwalior, Chhatarpur-Niwari.

Western disturbance is expected to become active on Friday night, which will start showing its effect from December 30. The weather will remain changed in the state till January 4, that is, the new year will begin with changed weather. Before this, cold and fog are increasing the problems of the people.

There may be hailstorm and rain in Gwalior, Chambal, Ujjain, Bhopal, Sagar and Rewa divisions. There may be drizzle in Indore, Narmadapuram, Jabalpur, Shahdol.

Dense with moderate fog at isolated places in Morena, Gwalior,  Niwari, Tikamgarh, Chhatarpur, Panna, Mauganj and Rewa.

There was fog, there was light fog in Guna, Ashok Nagar, Sheopur Kalan, Vidisha, Damoh, Katni, Sidhi.

At that time, 200 meters were recorded in Gwalior, 300 meters in Khajuraho, 200-500 meters in Damoh and Reha.

There was no significant change in the minimum temperature in the districts of all the divisions. They are common in the districts of Ujjain and Jabalpur divisions.

The night temperature in (degree celsius) Bhopal 12.6, Indore 15.4, Gwalior 10.8, Jabalpur 11.5, Ujjain 13, Rajgarh 8.6, Sagar 8.7, Khajuraho 9, Nowgong 9, Tikamgarh 9, Guna 9, Khargone 9.4, Pachmarhi 9.4, Damoh 9.8 & Datia 9.8.

The Met has issued a warning of moderate to dense fog in the districts of Gwalior, Chambal divisions, Rekha, Chirpur, Tikamgarh, Niwari districts.
