A team of Airport Authority of India (AAI) from commercial department headed by Chandra Shekhar and Partho Saha visited Bokaro Airport on Saturday morning to facilitate and review the basic infrastructure like Parking facilities , Snacks center , trolley arrangements etc availability for the customers to pave the path of Airport operational which may be interpreted as airport likely to be functional for flight operation anytime by the end of this Financial year as deliverable are in its final phase of execution.
It is noteworthy that recently DC, Bokaro, Kuldeep Chowdhary reviewed the pending and progress works in detailed manner of Bokaro Airport. During this meeting, primarily discussions were held on identifying the pending tasks to be performed by concern departments in the operation of Bokaro Airport hence given necessary instructions to the concerned officials regarding holding the meeting every month and regular monitoring of the progress work. Legislator Bokaro Biranchi Narayan also had numerous meetings to push things towards making Bokaro Airport operational.
It is noteworthy that Bokaro Airport is revolutionary for neighbouring districts like Dhanbad, Giridih, Purulia, and more as it’s not only a significant step to catalyze the growth of Bokaro but also providing inhabitants with convenience as the airport has the ability to significantly boost the region’s industrial and tourism potential.
