The maximum and minimum temperatures in Dehradun and other parts of the State remained higher than normal on Wednesday too. The weather conditions are expected to remain similar on Thursday with the State meteorological centre forecasting that dry weather is likely to prevail in the districts of the State today. Shallow to moderate fog is likely to occur in some parts of Haridwar and Udham Singh Nagar districts during the morning hours today. The meteorological centre has further forecast that the provisional State capital Dehradun is likely to witness a mainly clear sky on Thursday with mist likely to occur during the morning hours. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be about 25 degrees Celsius and seven degrees Celsius respectively in Dehradun today.
Meanwhile, the maximum and minimum temperatures recorded in various parts of the State on Wednesday were 25.8 degrees Celsius and 8.4 degrees Celsius respectively in Dehradun, 25.5 degrees Celsius and 6.8 degrees Celsius in Pantnagar, 15.4 degrees Celsius and six degrees Celsius in Mukteshwar and 17 degrees Celsius and 5.1 degrees Celsius in New Tehri. The maximum and minimum temperatures in Dehradun were five and two degrees above normal respectively. In Pantnagar, the maximum and minimum temperatures were also five and two degrees above normal respectively. Similarly, the maximum and minimum temperatures were three and four degrees above normal respectively in Mukteshwar and one and two degrees above normal respectively in New Tehri.
