The Kendrapada Sadar police on Thursday arrested three persons, including two brothers from West Bengal’s Nadia district, for allegedly posting nude photographs of a minor girl in social media.
The arrested were identified as Milan and his brother Mulayam belonging to Nadia and Debadutta Behera of Salipur in Cuttack district. Milan and Mulayam used to work as masons.
Milan had recently come in contact with the victim girl while he was working at a construction site near her house. Milan and the girl fell in love with each other and Milan managed to capture nude photos of the girl slyly while they were in video chat through WhatsApp. To settle score with the girl’s family, her neighbour Sandeep Nayak’s wife Smita clandestinely collected the nude photos from Milan’s brother Mulayam and posted in social media.
Later, the photos were also made viral by one Debadutta of Salipur with the girl’s number.On an FIR by the girl, police registered a case; and with the intervention of the Kendrapada SP arrested the three accused and seized two mobile phones from them. The girl’s neighbours are still absconding.
