Vaishnaw, Scindia praise Modi, Yogi

Sunday, 31 December 2023 | PNS | Ayodhya

Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw and Union Minister for Civil Aviation Jyotiraditya Scindia praised the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the skillful administration of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath during a public meeting in Ayodhya on Saturday.

During the public meeting, projects worth Rs 15,700 crore were dedicated to the nation.

Addressing the event, they said, “The resolution taken by Prime Minister Modi to return the glory of Treta Yuga to the ‘divya, navya and bhavya’ Ayodhya is being fulfilled under the skillful administration of UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.”

December 30 has been recorded in golden letters in the history of Ayodhya. This date will be known for setting the paradigm of development as well as for Prime Minister Modi’s vision and Chief Minister Yogi’s efficient implementation, they added.

The railway minister said that Ayodhya was now being connected with the world. Before January 22, the date of December 30 holds great significance for Ayodhya. The city is witnessing development due to the vision of the prime minister, he added.

“Today, the Ayodhya Dham station was inaugurated by the prime minister, showcasing a commitment to preserving Ayodhya’s heritage and introducing new facilities. Similarly, six Vande Bharat and two Amrit Bharat trains have been dedicated to India today. These trains connect various parts of the country, including Ayodhya,” he added.

Highlighting the development in the railway sector, Vaishnaw mentioned that from 2009 to 2014, only Rs 11,000 crore was allocated for railways in a significant state like Uttar Pradesh. However, now, railways in UP were being developed with a budget of Rs 17,100 crore. He said that the prime minister had dedicated railway projects worth Rs 20,300 crore to the country. Every station in Uttar Pradesh has undergone transformation, including the completion of electrification works, he added.

Scindia said that today was a historic day as the awaited moment of thousands of years was now approaching its culmination. “On January 22, the consecration of Lord Ram will be done in his grand temple in Ayodhya, bringing back the glory of Ayodhya and ‘Suryavansh’,” he said.

While India is emerging as an economic powerhouse globally, Prime Minister Modi’s effort is also to make the world aware of India’s spiritual strength,” he added.

Scindia said, “Now airplanes like Boeing and Airbus will also be able to land in Ayodhya and flights to Delhi and Ahmedabad will be operated from here. Ayodhya will be connected to every corner of India.”

On one hand, opposition governments neglected Ayodhya and denied the existence of Lord Shri Ram, while on the other hand, Prime Minister Modi has made efforts to revive Ayodhya’s lost glory while upholding the honour of Lord Shri Ram. This has been made possible due to ‘Modi ki Guarantee’, Scindia added.
