Indore Divisional Mineral Flying Squad is continuously taking action against vehicles transporting illegal minerals in eight districts of Indore division. This action has started from 20th December and till 31st December, more than 50 vehicles transporting illegal minerals have been caught by Indore Divisional Mineral Flying Squad.
Indore Divisional Mineral Flying Squad in-charge Dharmendra Chauhan told The Pioneer that illegal vehicles were caught while transporting which include trucks, dumpers, tractors, trolleys carrying crushed stone, sand and all other different types of minerals. Many vehicles were found overloaded and many vehicles did not have transport permits.
More than 50 vehicles have been kept in the nearby police station area and a case has been registered against them under Mineral Section and the action to impose fine is going on. Action against illegal transportation of minerals will continue in the coming days.
