The Golden jubilee reunion of the 52 regular and 36 technical graduate courses is being held from December 14 to 16 at the Indian Military Academy (IMA). These veterans had passed out from the portals of IMA in December 1973. Hailing from various corners of the country, and some from overseas, the alumni fondly recalled their days at IMA in the reunion , where they were moulded by exceptional instructors and mentors . These officers have served across the nation and in various international assignments, with some rising to the rank of Army Commanders who have received accolades for bravery and distinguished service. The course has also given visionary leaders significantly contributing to the nation's progress. The course paid tribute to their batch mates who sacrificed their lives with a wreath-laying ceremony in honour of the fallen heroes.
The Commandant of IMA, Lieutenant General VK Mishra, extended a warm welcome to the veterans, emphasizing that the institution never forgets those who carry its teachings into their lifelong journey and thanked them for returning to their alma mater after half a century.
