In a shocking incident, a tantrik allegedly raped a woman who visited him for fertility treatment, in a village in Aligarh.
A case has been registered against the tantrik in Harduaganj police station on the complaint of the victim’s husband.
According to reports, the couple did not have any children even after eleven years of marriage. They learned about the tantrik, Kamal, in the Talanagari area under Etah Chungi police station through a friend.
The woman visited the tantrik, who, on the pretext of treatment, allegedly raped her.
He has been taken into custody and further probe is on, the police said.
In her complaint, the woman said that she was unable to conceive even after several years of marriage. Desperate to have a baby, she learned that the tantrik’s treatment could fulfill her desire to become a mother.
