The Yogi Adityanath government intends to infuse the principles of Lord Ram into society, aiming to enhance the cultural and spiritual richness of the entire state. As part of this effort, cultural programmes based on Ramayana will be staged in Ayodhya.
Each day, the Yogi government plans to provide a platform to 500 renowned and emerging talents from across the country, including Uttar Pradesh. Furthermore, cultural programme are slated to take place at various significant locations, encompassing 25 mythological sites and intersections within Ayodhya.
The Yogi government envisions the creation of platforms at significant locations in Ayodhya, inspired by events from the Ramayana period. This initiative aims to familiarise the new generation with the virtues of Shri Ram. On the occasion of the Shri Ram temple inauguration, instructions have been issued to establish the Purushottam stage at Ram ki Paidi, Saryu stage at Bhajan Sandhya venue, Bharat stage at the cultural complex auditorium, Kagbhusundi stage at Ramkatha Park, Tulsi stage at Tulsi garden for various cultural programmes.
In addition, cultural events are scheduled to take place at 25 significant mythological sites and intersections throughout the city. Both renowned and emerging talents will have the opportunity to showcase their art at these events.
During the consecration ceremony of the Shri Ram temple, the Yogi government plans to host diverse cultural events. These include Ram Katha narrations by saints, performances of Ramlilas featuring national and international artists, presentations of traditional dances inspired by the Ramayana, classical and folk music and dance performances, rangoli and art exhibitions, as well as quizzes related to the Ramayana.
The government will also showcase theatrical and other cultural programmes based on Lord Ram in the public domain. The overarching goal is to instill the spirit of Lord Ram throughout the entire state of Uttar Pradesh.
Recently, in a meeting held in Lucknow, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath issued directives to organise events such as Ramayana, Kirtan and Ramcharit Manas.
From January 14 to March 24, there is a significant emphasis on hosting programmes, including Bhajan-Kirtan, Ramayana-Ramcharit Manas Path, and Sunderkand, at Digambar Akhara, Valmiki Mandir Naya Purva, Ved Mandir, Mouni Baba Mandir, Janaki Mahal, Ramjanaki Mandir, Bharat Kund, Jalpa Mata Mandir, Guptar Ghat, Chhoti Chhawani near Ramanand Ashram, Valmiki Bhawan and Suryakund.
According to ancient beliefs, the act of blowing a conch before initiating any auspicious work brings blessings from God. The sound of the conch is thought to spread positive energy, eliminating obstacles and imperfections. In line with the directives of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, there is a proposal to set a world record by blowing 1,111 conch shells at Shri Ram Janmabhoomi. The assistance of NCZCC (North Central Zone Cultural Centre) and IGNCA (Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts) will be sought for this endeavor. Additionally, efforts will be made to set a world record for the collective performance of Saryu aarti.
