A youth died on Saturday after coming in contact with a high tension line in Bhopal. After the incident, the body remained hanging in the wires for about 2 hours. Later, the MPEB and Municipal Corporation team brought down the body with the help of a crane.
The incident took place in Kajlikheda of Kolar. At 10 in the morning, Krishna Gopal (25), an electrician living near Inayatpur, climbed a pole to repair the power connection in his house which was facing an issue. He was tightening the connection. Then it came under the influence of an 11 thousand KV high tension line. Due to which he died. The body got stuck between the wires.
TI Ashutosh Upadhyay told that Krishna Gopal's father Govind Yadav was an electrician. He worked privately, and was not an employee of MPEB. The main line of his house had become loose from the pole. Lights used to go off again and again in the air. To fix this he had climbed the pole. Then the accident happened.
